    Description Specification Downloads Description The submerged aerator is designed for liquid waste aeration in small water treatment systems. Other fields of application include pond water oxygenation and fish farms. Thanks to its specific design, the new NOVAIR system guarantees optimal oxygenation of water treatment plants by means of a large and thick cloud of fine bubbles. The fluid dynamics study has been mainly focused on the impeller’s blade profiles, with a view to avoid damaging microorganisms present in the water when starting operation. As the aerator is installed vertically, its body is supplied with a supporting base. Technically speaking, motor cooling is guaranteed by large contact surfaces between motor casing and the liquid. The power cable is coated with resin against humidity and leaks and cabling has been made easier, in order to favour maintenance operations and cable replacement. The excellent wear resistance of the stainless steel motor shaft, with ceramic bush around the sealing rings, guarantees long product durability.

The particles in the water will block plumbing systems, leave unsightly staining, may contain toxic chemicals or bacteria. The easiest way to remove the particles is by passing the water through a media where the particles get stuck and allow clear water to flow through. The particles can be periodically ƒ??backwashedƒ?? away to drain. Our fine sand filter has a more irregular surface than sand giving more efficient removal of suspended matter. This means the equipment can be smaller and higher flow rates can be achieved for a given size. Particles down to 5 to 10 micron are typically removed. The media must be soaked before use. CR media is a silica crystal that works by an ion exchange process which removes iron, manganese and hardness (and reduces ammonia). The minimum pH requirement is 6.0 and CR media balances the pH in these acidic waters. CR media works at itƒ??s best on clear water, i.e. when the iron/manganese are in a dissolved form. CR media will also reduce hardness with no extra treatment. The regeneration process is exactly the same as that used in a water softener and requires regeneration with salt (sodium chloride). CR media has a number of advantages over conventional systems in that pH correction, iron/manganese removal, ammonia reduction and softening can all be addressed in a single process.
